I am a strong believer in perseverance, so I’d say I’m most aligned with Grit at Impel. When it comes to a passion or a skill that you want to learn, no matter how hard it may be or how long it takes, you can always accomplish your task so long as you don’t give up.
Out of all the Impel core values, Inventiveness is the closest and most prominent feature of my life. I would say being curious is one of the primary motivators that keeps propelling me forward!
Grit is one that resonates [with me]. I tend to see everything as an opportunity. Even if it takes time and a whole lot of effort, there is some lesson to be learned. Grit = Determination and I am a very determined person.
Relationships. Building and fostering relationships is the most important thing in the world. It’s why I love sales so much! I have the opportunity to create new relationships every day.
The core values that resonate with me are: Relationship, Energy and Results. I thrive in fast-paced environments and once I’m in the zone, I’ll stay there until I finish the job.
Grit and Curiosity. I’m very curious by nature. I always want to get to the root of anything. To that end, I’m very persistent in understanding the causes of things, no matter how long it takes.
[Core Values] Passion – I’m passionate about my job. I find meaning and purpose in my work. [And] Energy – It might be surprising, but I never feel tired after work. My team is always there to boost my energy throughout the day.
If I had to choose only one core value, I would have to pick Passion because it is at the heart of success.
[Core Value] Relationships. Growing up in a small Mom and Pop shop taught me the importance of building relationships and rapport with those around you in order to be successful.
The most important value for me is results, and subsequently, personal accountability. As a client support specialist, I aim for the best feedback from the dealerships, which represents the result of our efforts.
