This month, we’re introducing you to Chris Hart, Manager – Implementation.
Tell us about your role at Impel.
I’m the Manager of our implementation team here at Impel. We onboard all of our new clients to ensure each dealership is set up for success.
Which core value resonates the most with you?
So I can’t choose them all?! I would say, truthfully, they each resonate with me and that’s a large part of what drew me to Impel but if I had to choose just one I would say relationships. I really love my team and working with them day in and day out. I enjoy building long-lasting relationships with all of our clients as well.
You’ve held a couple of roles within our Customer Success team over the last two years, how has each position uniquely prepared you for your role as Implementation Manager?
I began my career at Impel as a Customer Success Manager for our auction clients. At the time, this was a new vertical for Impel and I really loved my time building out the sector and digging in to build long-lasting success with my clients using our technology. I have also had the opportunity to work with our large enterprise clients. I was able to have my boots on the ground and listen to what our dealers and clients were going through every day. I think this is a key aspect as to why I love my current role. I want to make sure every client gets the very most out of their experience with our technology and experience out of their time with my team.
You’re known around the office for being a phenomenal cook. What are your top three favorite dishes to cook at home?
My top three favorite dishes would be chicken wings, chicken wings and chicken wings, haha! Those are my favorite at least, but the favorites in my household would probably be chicken parmesan, my chicken tacos and chicken wings. I also love creating sauces for all of my favorite dishes. As they say, “the secret is in the sauce.”
Tell us about what you like to do when you’re not in the office.
When I’m not in the office I love to watch sports. I’m a big college football and NBA fan. In a world without COVID, I attend at least a few games of each every year. I’m really looking forward to that for the upcoming season. Go blue! My wife and I also just bought a home so I spend a lot of weekends doing projects around the house and the yard – I’ve found I really enjoy that. I also love spending time with my family, my nephews and nieces, and our two puppies Bo & Lucy.
What aspect of your life do you enjoy the most?
Supportive wife, family, and friends. I would not be who I am today or where I am today without their continued support. Every day is not easy but what pushes me through is the support I receive!
What is something about you that would surprise people?
This is not the craziest thing, but I receive strange reactions when it comes up. I strongly dislike sweets; you will never find me digging through the candy basket in the office!
