Impel is thrilled to announce the acquisition of Pulsar AI, creator of the auto industry’s most advanced conversational AI platform. The acquisition marks a key milestone for Impel and reinforces our commitment to helping dealers deliver more engaging and personalized shopper experiences at every touchpoint. This historic event expands and strengthens the Impel family and organization as Pulsar’s AI technology will be integrated into the Impel platform and all of Pulsar’s employees will become part of Impel’s expanded global Executive Leadership, Product, Operations and R&D organization.

To commemorate the closing of the acquisition, Devin Daly (Impel CEO and Co-Founder), and Britt DeJohn ( Senior Director – Product Operations) recently traveled to Tbilisi, Georgia, the nation’s capital and home to Pulsar AI’s headquarters. After a warm welcome from Dachi Choladze (Pulsar CEO & Co-Founder) and the Pulsar team, both companies discussed business and organizational insights and plans.

This transaction is also historic for the country of Georgia as it represents the first foreign acquisition of a tech company in the country’s history. Pulsar AI was also the first tech company to attract international funding in Georgia and was also among the first to receive support from Georgia’s Innovation and Technology Agency (GITA), part of a Georgian effort to develop the nation’s tech innovation base.
