Impel Names Q3 Storm Chaser Award Winners

The Storm Chaser Award is a quarterly employee recognition program in which peers nominate colleagues for work that exceeds expectations and goes above and beyond the requirements in their job description. Storm Chasers help enhance our culture, proactively seek solutions, and affect positive change within the company.

During a recent quarterly update, we announced the latest incredible nominees, featuring new and repeat candidates recognized for work that goes above and beyond expectations. The nominations shared examples of how each employee lives out Impel’s values and spoke to each candidate’s dedication. 

In the third quarter, we received an incredible 24 nominations, demonstrating just how many of our team members regularly go above and beyond — and how enthusiastic we are to lift each other up.

We’re honored to announce the winners of Impel’s most recent Storm Chaser Award: Kyle Greer, Billy Clifford, and Luka Esakia. Congratulations, Storm Chasers, and thank you for helping make Impel great!

Kyle Greer, Business Development Manager

“Kyle is someone who leads by example. He is all about putting the team first and never only thinks about himself. Kyle is always willing to hop on calls if needed. He cares about making relationships at Impel.”

“Kyle is always willing to help anywhere within the company. He is always there to help and support everyone. We all work together seamlessly because of the example that Kyle sets for us each and every day.”

When asked what being a Storm Chaser means, Kyle said, “It starts with having a great team around us in the Specialty markets. Without these people, I wouldn’t be able to do the job that I do. Also, Impel has changed my life’s direction, career-wise and personally. I love this company and am having a good time. It’s easy to be a team player when everything around you is firing on all cylinders.”

Billy Clifford, Customer Success Associate

“Billy constantly goes out of his way to help others and picks up other projects to help solve bigger problems. Thinking outside the box is his specialty. He makes us a stronger company.”

“Billy had zero hesitation when we approached him about visiting unlaunched dealers. He went right down to Florida, logged a ton of miles driving up to the Carolinas, flew to NY, and had a huge impact in getting those dealerships started.”

When asked what being a Storm Chaser means to him, Billy said, “Being nominated and winning Storm Chaser is nothing short of an absolute honor. Everyone at Impel shows up day in and day out, giving 110% to their peers, projects, and, most importantly, our partners. To be recognized by such an exemplary group is truly humbling and something I will hold dearly for years to come.”

Luka Esakia, Junior Software Engineer

“Luka is always ready to listen and assist you. He frequently stays at the office outside working hours to ensure that everything will work correctly.”

“Most of the team goes to Luka whenever they need assistance. He will spend extra time with people to help figure out the issues. He is a real Storm Chaser!”

When asked what being a Storm Chaser means to him, Luka said, “Being nominated for the Storm Chaser Award shows me how lucky I am to work with such a great team. They are always my motivation to do better, and that exponentially boosts my self-growth speed!”
