If you know automotive, you know that NADA is THE event of the year. This year, we celebrated Valentine’s Day weekend in Las Vegas exhibiting alongside more than 600 of our friends. The best of the industry covered 650,000 square feet of the Las Vegas Convention Center (LVCC), showcasing the products, services and technologies available in automotive. After an inspiring three days, we took some time to reflect on our time in Las Vegas and bring you our top takeaways from the show.
New and Notable
SpinCar launched its newest merchandising solution, F&I Advantage, at the show. F&I Advantage is a simple but effective approach to educating consumers on the benefits of finance and insurance products available at a dealership before they ever set foot in the showroom. Dealers were beyond excited about this solution, and so are we.
We also had a lot to celebrate at NADA! We kicked off the weekend at the 2020 Automotive Website Awards dinner, where we were recognized for the fourth consecutive year. We were also honored to receive the Vanguard Award for leadership in innovation.
Major congratulations go out to Susan Moffitt of Moffitt Family Dealerships in Shreveport Louisiana, whose Porsche dealership was awarded the prestigious TIME Dealer of the Year Award at NADA!
Bigger and Better
The LVCC is huge. Both expo halls were constantly buzzing with energy as attendees wove their way through some impressive booths. In true SpinCar fashion, we didn’t hold back at NADA 2020 – in fact, we put the pedal to the metal. Our octagon-style booth has been our signature at shows like NADA and Digital Dealer in the past, but our growth called for six more demo stations this year. The expo halls are vast and we know dealers can get pretty tired from all the walking! That’s why we created even more space to invite visitors to have a seat, grab a drink, and chat with us through a quick five-minute demo of our merchandising solutions. Our SpinBar is always a big draw for dealers and this year we added a breakfast bar with coffee, espresso, mimosas and bloody marys!
Educational and Energetic
What truly sets us apart from other booths is our energy. Our team brings boundless excitement and passion for our solutions, and yet again we were meeting customers in our booth long past expo closing hours. This enthusiasm allows us to meet so many amazing people in the industry and foster wonderful relationships. We always look forward to meeting with current and new customers, as well as partners like Xcite Advertising, AutoVerify, and Auction Edge.
NADA is also a fantastic resource to seek out education on the ever-changing trends in automotive with speaker sessions and workshops. Topics included leveraging data, the future of car shopping and buying, and making the most of front-end opportunities. We sat in on a few workshops and sessions and realized something important: SpinCar has the perfect digital merchandising solution for so many of the critical issues dealers face today.
We left NADA excited for what’s to come in 2020. With shows like the Conference of Automotive Remarketing, Digital Dealer 28, Digital Marketing Strategies Conference, and Automotive Conference & Expo on the horizon, we’re as energized as ever to deliver the most advanced merchandising solutions to dealers all around the world.
