SpinCar renamed Impel, offers 2nd chance F&I tool

Dealership software provider SpinCar has a new name — Impel — and a new product allowing retailers to attempt finance and insurance product sales after the customer has left the lot.
The F&I Pursuit tool mines dealership management system records for vehicle buyers who didn’t purchase F&I products, according to Impel.
Impel said its software uses conversational artificial intelligence and automated text messages and emails to take another shot at pitching F&I products.
As for the rebranding, Impel said changing its name from SpinCar reflects the company’s evolution as well as its focus on driving innovation.
